GOAL
Turn paid media into a profitable, scalable and measurable acquisition channel
RESULT
From 64 to 244 attributed purchases, a 1.83x LTV ROAS and $259K in net revenue over 15 months
The Challenge
When R40 took over management in September 2024, the paid media vertical was practically nonexistent as a sustainable acquisition channel. The first full month recorded a spend of just $548, with no campaign structure, no segmentation and deficient tracking that made it impossible to attribute purchases. Pressable had never managed to make paid media work profitably.
Broken tracking: GA4 + GTM without reliable purchase events
No segmentation by customer type (agencies vs. business owners)
Zero video assets — only low-performing static images
Budget diluted across terms that were too broad and costly
A single active channel (basic Google) with no full-funnel strategy
The Solution
R40 implemented a multichannel full-funnel strategy that combined a technical audit, rebuilding campaigns from scratch, producing creative assets in monthly batches and a 'clean lead' methodology to separate signal from noise, spanning Google Ads, Meta, Reddit and LinkedIn simultaneously.
Tracking rebuild
We implemented a parallel test GA4 property and manual conversions in Google Ads that fire when a real sale occurs, documenting the Maxio vs. Analytics gap (±49%) to make decisions based on real data and not inflated attribution.
Segmentation by target audience
We created differentiated segments —Agencies, Business Owners, WP Engine/Flywheel competitors and WooCommerce— each with its own campaign, message and landing page, reducing waste on low-intent audiences.
Creative batch system
We established a monthly video pipeline (5+ batches). The August 2025 batch generated 50% of the month's sales on Meta, with 75% of conversions coming from those new assets.
Competitive intelligence and multichannel mix
We capitalized on the WP Engine/Automattic context with Contract Buyout campaigns (176 fills in Sep–Oct 2024) and expanded the ecosystem from 1 to 4 channels: Google, Meta, Reddit and LinkedIn, each with a strategic role in the funnel.

In 15 months, R40 turned an inherited account with no structure into an acquisition engine. Attributed purchases went from 64 (first 4 months) to 244 in 2025 (+281%), impressions grew 46× to 39.1M while maintaining a healthy CTR, and the minimum CPA reached $618 in December 2025. With a 1.83x LTV ROAS, for every dollar invested Pressable recovers $1.83 in customer lifetime value — a net revenue of $259K over spend.
Services Used

“The Agencies Search and PMax campaigns were the ones that contributed most to new conversions. By separating audiences by customer type and activating video with direct messaging, we went from having no reliable data to an attribution system that let us scale what worked week by week.”
